Aeromobile 5.0

The evolution of the supercar is the AeroMobil. Inspired by the mythical winged horse Pegasus, the AeroMobil is the new luxury vehicle species equally at home on the road or in the sky – the flying car.

The AeroMobil 5.0 is a concept four seat flying car designed for door-to-door flying. Two electrically driven propellers situated on its wing-tips supply vertical take-off and cruise mode thrust.

Based on the AeroMobil 3.0 and 4.0 models, the 5.0 is expected to employ a Rotax 912 four cylinder horizontally-opposed liquid and air-cooled piston aircraft engine with 75 kW 100 hp and a battery package. The wings pivot backwards when the vehicle is in its driving configuration. Flight range will be 700 km. The 3.0 test model included a ballistic parachute. Current versions are designed for a human pilot.

The AeroMobil 5.0 is intended for "wealthy supercar buyers and flight enthusiasts" to be used for door-to-door travel as a VTOL with highway driving capability. It will offer “Mobility as a service using the best from the combination of the car, the plane and the computer."

The Llthium-ion high voltage battery with 100 serial packs, each pack has 24 parallel cells in the Aramid Epoxy safety box, weighing 105 Kg (231 pounds). This one gives a maximum speed of 250 km (155 miles)/h (electronically limited) and an acceleration of 0-100 km (62 mils)/h in less than 5 seconds and a range of 400 km (248 miles)
